Responsible for the management of system integration and API management. In-charge of assessing and recommending application integration within the Aboitiz Digital Architecture and framework. Manage the design, development, implementation and monetization of APIs that will be exposed to different applications both internal and external to the Aboitiz networks. Interpret, use and apply information contained within IT architecture to inform a range of business improvement activities, particularly those involved in the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of IT support systems. Will also be part of the digital architecture team which will be engaged in creating and designing enterprise solutions and align with the group strategy of prioritizing cloud-ready applications.
The Applications Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and handling deployment for web applications being used by several units. This includes both custom (Java and PHP) and off the shelf applications. Administration of applications - ServiceDesk Plus, Alfresco, Sugar CRM, and MS Project; coordinate with Site Admins for any changes affecting their end. Coordinate with party vendors for level 3 support and discuss improvements for the applications. The core competencies needed are: Application Support Knowledge of PHP, Java, and database (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle) Working knowledge in OS and Web Server administration (Linux, Windows, Apache, Nginx, IIS)
