The position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all diesel engines and auxiliary machines upon instructions of Operations Supervisor and in accordance with standard operating parameters.
Prepares all engines and auxiliary equipment for start-up procedures to ensure that all standard operating parameters for start-up are met.
Monitors all running engines by conducting routine inspections.
Operates and Monitors fuel and lube oil separators.
Performs fire-fighting and other emergency responsibilities as defined in the Emergency Response Plan.
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Responsible for conducting corrective and preventive maintenance activities on all main engines and auxiliary equipment.
Follow and implement standard operating procedures to ensure the efficient, safe and reliable operation of all generating units during the shift.
The position is responsible for maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment and its control by conducting preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure continuous operation. The position is also responsible for conducting system improvement for better protection and convenience in operation.
The Operations and Maintenance Intern will be exposed in different weather equipments and automated weather stations.
Responsible to deploy and install weather equipment, maintain online status of AWS network and inventory of all AWS units.
