AboitizPower wrapped up its Scrum Chapter Conference for 2024, a significant milestone in our journey of transformation and collaboration. Under the theme “The Year of Becoming,” this hybrid event brought together our agile champions for a day filled with inspiring stories, strategic insights, and active engagement as we gear up for our next chapter in 2025.
The conference began with a powerful and heartfelt story from Jarren De Guzman, one of our agile champs from AP Renewables, Inc., who shared his inspiring journey from being an Aboitiz scholar to becoming an agile leader within AboitizPower. His narrative highlighted the essence of transformation, resilience, and growth, embodying what it means to embrace change and move forward with purpose.
We also had the privilege of hearing from our culture and transformation leaders — Michelle Rubio, Dea Csuba, and RJ Buenviaje. Their motivational messages provided a broader perspective on our collective journey and addressed what lies ahead as we align with our GT2025 strategic goals. They emphasized AboitizPower’s massive transformative purpose of transforming energy for a better world, showcasing how our vision guides us in every step we take. Their insights laid the groundwork for understanding how we can integrate our A+10 behaviors into every aspect of our work and culture as we step into “The Year of Being.”
To close the conference, our agile champ participants were grouped for synergistic discussions, answering one essential question as we envision becoming the country’s first techglomerate by 2025: “How do you think we can enhance our ‘Year of BEING’ initiative to integrate people, processes, and technology effectively?” The exchange of ideas and forward-thinking strategies demonstrated the openness, commitment, and agility that our team embodies.
As we conclude this year’s chapter, we look ahead with excitement to 2025 — “The Year of Being.” We are ready to deepen our values, embody our A+10 behaviors, and make a meaningful impact as we continue our journey toward transforming energy for a better world and achieving our aspiration of becoming the first techglomerate in the Philippines.
